Sciencefest at the Museum of Natural Science

STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math)

Voice of Calvary Ministries again participated in the Museum of Natural Science’s annual Sciencefest.  Our hands-on STEAM exhibit provided an activity entitled “The Tower Challenge”.  This Engineering centered challenge was to build a tower using spaghetti and linguini as ‘girders’ and various sized marshmallows as ‘connectors’.  The goal was, to have a freestanding tower.  See samples of the “towers” below.
