I am privileged once a month to convene a group of men from across the political spectrum to discuss issues facing our country from a Christian perspective. We have called ourselves the Fellowship of Hope, and some of us have been working together for over 30 years. Our reason for meeting is to discuss how we can bring good news to the poor through the Church.
We are all involved in various efforts individually, but we also know that we have more impact as we work together across race, political viewpoints and generational divides. What an opportunity we have to bring hope through our fellowship during these trying times. I am so thankful to God for allowing me to know these brothers.
