God has blessed me with many gifts and talents. I have education in a variety of fields. Out of all the things I’ve done in life I really enjoy serving others.
1 Peter 4:10 As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace.
I enjoy this career because I’m able to serve those who served us. It is more rewarding for me being a veteran myself; it gives me a greater since of purpose. Knowing what many veterans experienced while in the military and the various obstacles they endure after the transition out. There are many that have no since of direction as of what to do next. Which leads to alcohol and drug addiction; which could lead to them being homeless? The question is always, what’s next, then how? The case managers and I are able to guy the veterans toward the right direction, the light toward stability. The veterans are given the tools they need to gain employment. Once the veteran gets employed, then he/she are able to contribute to the foundation of stabilizing and securing the home in which they live or looking forward to obtain.
